Open House Results

The Diamond Mountain Area Structure Plan (ASP) Open House was hosted on Thursday June 2, 2016 from 4pm – 6pm at the 101-554 Leon Avenue, and had a total of 41 participants (based upon sign-in sheet). The primary purpose of the open house was to present the updated Diamond Mountain ASP for 89 hectares (219 acres) of land. The open house was an informal ‘drop-in’ format that provided information to participants about the plans for Diamond Mountain.

There was overwhelming support for the development of the ASP with anticipation of parks, trails, access to HWY 97, and housing diversity to serve the existing Glenmore neighbourhood. No new changes are proposed as a result of the second open house.
